Our Carp

CS Fisheries specialise in the production of FAST growing specimen carp. We can have multiple strains on hand at any one time and this changes each season. With PURE “Croatian Strain” carp, PURE “Dinks” (Dinkelsbuehl), “Fishers Pond” and “Dintons Pastures” there is something to suit every anglers taste at CS Fisheries.

All CS Fisheries carp are reared and developed in a 100 year old, clay lined reservoir which is abundant in natural foods. Large amounts of Bloodworm, caddisfly, mayfly, daphnia, water snail, tadpoles and numerous other crustaceans and insects are always present. This means that from a very young age our fish are learning to efficiently locate and feed on natural food sources. We supplement the diet of our carp with top quality, proven pellet from “Aller Aqua,” along with a variety of whole and crushed cereal based foods and wheats which keep them perfectly conditioned.

A CS carp is a fish that is ready for the outside world, able to locate food and thrive in different environments. Our site is located in Lancashire, North West England where the temperatures are lower and the conditions much harsher than the South. All fish are put outside as soon as possible after being hatched and this makes them incredibly hardy and adaptable. With proper fishery management and the correct feeding regime you should see fantastic growth rates across all CS strains.

Our site is registered with CEFAS (Centre for Environment, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science) and we boast a healthy, disease free status. All our fish are regularly health checked by reputable organisations such as the Environment Agency and Blue Roof. No equipment is transferred on or off the site and all equipment used for deliveries is disinfected on site prior to departure each day. So you can rest safe in the knowledge that you will receive healthy, young fish with fantastic potential to compliment your fishery.

Using substantial delivery equipment and aeration, we endeavour to ensure all our fish are in superb condition when they reach your fishery. When we make a delivery we will devote extra time to weigh and photograph both sides of EVERY single fish to assist you in tracking their future progression.

We understand that it’s a big financial commitment to stock a water so we are very competitively priced for the level of fish and service that we provide. We sold out completely last winter and already have a high demand this season with orders placed for winter 2021 and 2022. So make sure you act quickly to secure your future giants. Please note some orders will require a non refundable deposit to be paid in advance, this will then be deducted from the full order total on delivery.
